Carriers have occupied the Union Station since 1987. Union Station and Global Access are one of two carrier hotels in the state of Indiana. Carriers are not just backing up their data or storing data at an offsite location, they are depending on our facility for their day to day operations, and upon completion of their stringent due diligence, we have met or exceeded their extensive requirements.
Union Station is the focal point for bundled communications, transport and bandwidth exchange for northern Indiana. The building serves as the convergence point for large fiber paths running across the Midwest just south of the Great Lakes. There are over 2200 strands of fiber and 13 different entrance paths into the building as well as conduit banks on all 3-levels for ease of entry and transition within the building. A dense conduit system has been constructed to allow tenants access to any location within the building.
